Have You Checked In With Your Girl Scout Troop Lately?

I guess nothing is sacred in our country any more. Nothing is untouched by political correctness and political agenda. Nothing is untouched by the encroaching government agenda determined to blur the lines between good and evil, male and female, right and wrong. Even the Girl Scouts, the time honored organization supposedly aimed at teaching young girls virtue and citizenship as well as other noteworthy qualities to equip them for adulthood.

The Washington Times is reporting that the Girl Scouts’ cookie drive supports abortion and Planned Parenthood activities. Guess I’ll be giving up their cookies. I’m not interested in supporting a political agenda that runs against my own time honored values of virtue and citizenship. Oh yeh, the Girl Scout troops are also being forced to accept into their membership young boys with gender identity issues. See the article here. Virtue, my eye. Talk about confusing for young girls. This is social programming and indoctrination at its finest. I always thought the Girl Scouts was a private group. But then, for years I have watched the Boy Scouts be assailed by similar destructive and pc agendas. So now I will do my patriotic duty and refuse to buy those cookies. I hope others will join me. Besides, I need to lose weight anyway.

The current media relations director of the GS is one Joshua Ackley, who ten years ago was the front man for the Dead Betties, a homopunk band. He appears in publicity photos dressed in women’s clothing and then appears naked and feigning masturbation in music videos according to the Times.

Yeh…virtue, my eye. Who hired this guy anyway?

Who Should Be Our Next President?

I am reading Glenn Beck’s book on the Federalist papers. The Founders expected that, for the highest office in our land, people would give the candidates a lot of thought and inspection. As for guidelines on that choice, they made minimal requirements, expecting that the wisdom of the People would be sufficient. The candidate had to be at least 35 years of age, a resident of the country for at least 14 years and be a natural born citizen (not the same as just a citizen or naturalized citizen). This was important to the Founders so as to prevent foreign influence in the top office of the country.

The GOP had another debate last night. I didn’t get to sit and watch it in its entirety. I had, however, seen an earlier debate and had eliminated two candidates just from that debate. I was left with three whom I could not choose between at the time. I loved everything they said. I like Rick Santorum, Michelle Bachmann, Herman Cain, Tim Pawlenty. I loved everything they had to say. I think Newt Gingrich is very smart. But this morning as I think upon my quandary of choosing, I have added some new requirements of my own.

I feel, that in the light of the current train wreck that we have in the Oval office (masquerading as a leader) that it is imperative in this next election, that we elect a successful former or current governor. The mess that we currently have, called government, will require someone with governing experience. No learning on the job this time…the hour is too late for that. I think this is wisdom.

My other personal requirement is that this successful former or current governor also have a stable personal life…no multiple marriages. I also think this is wisdom.

So, where does that leave me? I have three candidates to choose from and I am eliminating all of the rest. Not because I don’t think they’re wonderful candidates, because I do think most of them are. I am going for an experienced governing candidate this time, so my field of candidates to choose from will be Tim Pawlenty, Mitt Romney, and Rick Perry, who is currently slated to announce his entrance into the race soon. And should any other successful former or current governors choose to come into the race, I will add them to the roster of choices.

Now I have more thoughtful consideration to do.

The Bin Laden Movie

Wow. They have truly thought of everything. By “they”, I mean the administration. When Bin Laden was captured, I thought how unfortunate for them that it happened so far ahead of the election and that now it wouldn’t be as big a deal when we get to November 2012. I am constantly amazed at the thinking of the Obama administration. How clever they are! Sony held a fund raiser for the President last year and now Sony will be producing the movie about the capture of Bin Laden. And can you guess when the release date is? Why, it’s October of 2012, just in time for the elections! Read more here. This eerily reminds me of Hitler’s big time collaborations with the arts and entertainment industry in Germany in the 1930′s. I’m just sayin’.

Of course, now there is a kerfuffle that classified secrets were revealed to Sony by the White House so that they could make this movie. Trading favors, you think?

The Obama campaign of 2008 has now stepped it up a few notches. Remember than net neutrality thing the government was talking about as so necessary for fairness reasons? Well, now it’s entirely possible your personal emails will now be delivered with an ad for Obama’s 2012 re-election.

Rural Communities Won’t Escape Agenda 21

Well, just call me discombobulated…I posted this link on the last post about spying on doctors. Agenda 21 a whole new subject and one everyone needs to pay attention to. This whole new world order government stuff is sort of like the floor of my used-to-be 9 foot by 9 foot bedroom floor. It is my work studio and I have so much stuff with no place to store it, that right now the floor space might measure 3 feet by 2 feet, if that. It just keeps creeping up on me. And the funny part is, (back to new world order stuff) if you are not paying diligent attention, it’s all happening behind the scenes where, if you’re not reading the blogosphere every single day, you don’t know it’s even happening…it’s like that creeping ivy you plant in your yard…one day you wake up…and it’s taken over the yard! That’s what’s going on behind the scenes, friends, and I’m not sure there is any stopping it. If you are a Bible believer, as I am, there is a time coming where there will be no stopping any of the great evil that will befall the globe. By that time, it will be too big, too powerful and too entrenched.

While we were all distracted with “Weiner-gate”, the trials and troubles of Anthony Weiner, for 3 solid weeks, our smooth, sneaky prez was quietly signing at least one globally agreeable, sovereignty-surrendering, executive order that no one was reporting about.
