Castro-Lovin’ Maxine Waters Disparages Conservatives

And if you don’t believe she loves Castro, I can find that quote too. These types of communist-loving people really should relocate out of this country because they no longer stand for nor appreciate the American value system, but instead try to denigrate and tear down any true representatives of American patriotism.

Note from the author…the word “teabagger” is actually the term for a sex act performed by homosexuals. It is a word that the left loves to use to denigrate and demean the tea party conservative movement. I had never heard of it (living the sheltered life that I do) and so I had to do some research, and I am quite sorry that now I know what that word means.

Ok, I’m Going To Say It Again…

To those who think a socialized, government-run (which is pretty much what we will have under the new law) health care system is a good idea, here is what doctors really think of it.  Yeh, I know it’s just from a novel, but you wait. The same thing will happen in our medical profession.  No one wants their talents and time hijacked, not to mention all the years they spent going to school.

“I quit when medicine was placed under State control, some years ago,” said Dr. Hendricks. “Do you know what it takes to perform a brain operation? Do you know the kind of skill it demands, and the years of passionate, merciless, excruciating devotion that go to acquire that skill? That was what I would not place at the disposal of men whose sole qualification to rule me was their capacity to spout the fraudulent generalities that got them elected to the privilege of enforcing their wishes at the point of a gun. I would not let them dictate the purpose for which my years of study had been spent, or the conditions of my work, or my choice of patients, or the amount of my reward. I observe that in all the discussions that preceded the enslavement of medicine, men discussed everything – except the desires of the doctors. Men considered only the ‘welfare’ of the patients, with no thought to those who were to provide it. That a doctor should have any right, desire, or choice in the matter, was regarded as irrelevant selfishness; his is not to choose, they said, only ‘to serve.’ That a man who’s willing to work under compulsion is too dangerous a brute to entrust with a job in the stockyards – never occurred to those who proposed to help the sick by making life impossible for the healthy. I have often wondered at this smugness with which people assert their right to enslave me, to control my work, to force my will, to violate my conscience, to stifle my mind – yet what is it that they expect to depend on, when they lie on an operating table under my hands? Their moral code has taught them to believe that it is safe to rely on the virtue of their victims. Well, that is the virtue I have withdrawn. Let them discover the kinds of doctors that their system will now produce. Let them discover, in their operating rooms and hospital wards, that it is not safe to place their lives in the hands of a man whose life they have throttled. It is not safe, if he is the sort of man who resents it – and still less safe, if he is the sort who doesn’t.”

Census 2010

I have to share this.  I don’t think I have ever seen anything like it in my life.  I only wish I had had my camera with me to get a photo.

I went to church this morning to find in the lobby of my church….your (and mine) tax dollars at work…in my church!  There was a table filled with all sort of items promoting the Census…a tall stack of t-shirts with red Census 2010 and other printing on them, red coffee mugs, lanyards, zippered cd cases, and other items.  I can’t remember them all.  I find this amazing.  I inquired and found that someone from the government or the census had called the church and asked if the church would promote the census…and so we are.  I’m sure everything was “free”.

So what do you think?

He Said What?

The following statement is from Andy Stern in a recent  interview with Ezra Klein at the Washington Post.  He is referring to the Democrats and the discussion is about health care reform.

“There’s the feeling that there hasn’t been enough accountability, that we’re (the unions?) being taken for granted. If careers, rather than issues, drive the decision making, then we need to make ourselves more involved in these people’s career planning (emphasis mine).”—Andy Stern, president of SEIU.

Read the whole column here.

Since the election of Barack Obama as president we have seen Mr. Stern become a regular visitor to the White House and the unions getting sweetheart deals and first rights in the government takeover of GM while stockholders who by law were to get first rights have been brushed aside.  One can only wonder what Stern might mean by his statement.  The agenda of leftist progressives like Andy Stern does not bode well for the freedom of anyone in America.

Finally! Some Real Hope And Change!

Sen. Coburn to House Dems: If you vote ‘yes’ this time, I will expose your pork and filibuster your nomination after you lose

Dr. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., the Senator from bomb-throw:

SEN. TOM COBURN (R), OKLAHOMA: I want to send a couple of messages to my colleagues in the House.

If you voted no and you vote yes, and you lose your election, and you think any nomination to a federal position isn’t going to be held in the Senate, I’ve got news for you. It’s going to be held.

Number two is, if you get a deal, a parochial deal for you or your district, I’ve already instructed my staff and the staff of seven other senators that we will look at every appropriations bill, at every level, at every instance, and we will outline it by district, and we will associate that with the buying of your vote. So, if you think you can cut a deal now, and it not come out until after the election, I want to tell you that isn’t going to happen. And be prepared to defend selling your vote in the House.

This is the Washington, D.C. equivalent of “I shall avenge unto the fourth generation and salt your family’s plot of land with your blood.” For once, some real change in D.C.

Changes At Fox News

I heard some strange things on Fox News  this week.  I heard Glenn Beck call Geert Wilders a Fascist. (see photo in prior post to clear THAT up.)  Geert is the former Dutch Parliamentarian on trial for speaking out about Islam.  (See prior posts)  I heard Charles Krauthammer make disaparaging comments about him and Bill Kristol called him a demagogue on Brett Baier’s program.  What is going on here?

Well here’s one explanation from the Winds of Jihad site and I quote:

“On Fox News last night  Glenn Beck, Charles Krauthammer, A.B. Stoddard, and Bill Kristol condemned Dutch activist Geert Wilders as a “demagogue” and a “fascist.”

Mr. Wilders, the leader of the Party for Freedom in The Netherlands, produced a controversial documentary on Islam in Holland called “Fitna.” In the short film, Mr. Wilders argued that “there is no such thing as ‘moderate Islam’” and that the Prophet Muhammad would “. . .in these days be hunted down as a terrorist.”

In the past, the former member of the Dutch National Parliament was a frequent guest on Fox News. Last February, Bill O’Reilly welcomed Mr. Wilders to America, while condemning a scared Britain for banning him entrance to the country.

While Mr. Beck labeled Mr. Wilders as a “fascist,” Mr. Krauthammer said that the popular Dutch politician, who is a leading candidate for Prime Minister, doesn’t know the difference between Islam and Islamism.

Ms. Stoddard expressed her agreement with Krauthammer and added that “if people like this (Mr. Wilders)) are elected to lead Holland it will suffer the consequences.

The well-orchestrated attacks on Mr. Wilders came in the wake of news that Rupert Murdoch, the CEO and principal stockholder of News Corps, the parent company of Fox News, will make Abu Dhabi, the headquarters of his global media operations in the Middle East.

Mr. Murdock has established strong links with the Arab Muslims, last month agreeing to invest 70 million dollars in the Rotana Group, an enterprise is controlled by Saudi tycoon Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

Prince Talal, in turn, now owns 7% of News Corps. He is #22 on the Forbes list of the world’s wealthiest people.

The change in Fox News and its stance on Islam has been noted by Walid Shoebat, a former member of the Palestine Liberation Organization, who converted to Christianity.

Mr. Shoebat says that Fox New now prohibits critics of Islam and Islamic terror from appearing on its broadcasts.

He contends that the prohibition stems from the fact that Prince Talal is now the second-largest shareholder in News Corporation, the parent company of the Fox News Channel.

“He himself (Prince bin Talal) said, ‘I just had to make a phone call to [tell them to] stop using the word Muslim’ regarding the rioting in France,” Mr. Shoebad notes. “Bill O’Reilly says to Ibrahim Hooper, the head of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), that he is an upstanding citizen. Since when was the head of CAIR an upstanding citizen?”

Mr. Shoebat adds that viewers will no longer be seeing any so-called “Islamophobes” on Fox.

“Today, I’m not invited at Fox News. Neither is Robert Spencer or Brigitte Gabriel,” he laments. “But Ibrahim Hooper is invited to speak at Fox News. It used to be that experts on terrorism who are critical of the Islamic views [were] able to get a voice on Fox News. Those days are gone.”

Paul L. Williams, Ph.D., author of such best-selling works as Osama’s Revenge: The Next 9/11 and The Day of Islam, has also been missing from Fox News in recent years, after making scores of appearances on top-rated Fox broadcasts over the past five years.

Mr. Shoebat says that instead of airing those critical views of Islam, Fox News now legitimizes Hooper, the spokesman for CAIR, a group which he maintains is a front for the terrorist group Hamas.”

Note: These events all happened on Monday evening, March 8, 2010.  This is propaganda speech and there has been much buzz on the internet about it.  I am extremely disappointed and shocked that the one news station that most conservatives have come to rely on has sold out on this issue. It is incredible to me that each of these commentators on Fox were able to find agreement and toe the politically correct line, even though this has not been the case in the past.  It was a smart move by the Saudis, but a dangerous one for freedom and free speech in America.  Fox News, we are watching and listening…you will lose your lead in the eyes of the viewing public if this deception is allowed to continue. Watch ratings drop.  I don’t believe conservative viewers will put up with this…we don’t care who your boss is. If you are now owned by Islam, you don’t have our sympathies.

Note: is the originator of the above post from Winds of Jihad.

Note #2:  It seems Fox News has pulled the video of Beck calling Wilders a fascist due to copyright claims.  Hmmm…that’s interesting.

“This is the latest evidence that makes Prince Alaweed bin Talal, the 22nd richest person in this world with wealth valued at over $16 billion in 2009 according to Forbes , one savvy  investor when it comes to influencing America’s opinion-makers and ultimately the American  public about his version of Islam: Wahhabism.  Bin Talal is the second largest stockholder  of NewsCorp, Inc. that owns FoxNewsChannel. When he purchased 5.5 % of NewsCorp back in 2005, he immediately called his newfound friend, Rupert Murdoch and asked him to pull those lurid filmed segments on French Muslims youths torching cars in Paris, and other major cities in France and instead talk about poverty and unemployment as the cause of these Jihadi-like outbursts. (I remember this.-author) When that occurred, a lot us knew then that FoxNewsChannel was lost. So, when this Special Report segment aired last night, as night follows day, the pundits became an amen corner, to quote Pat Buchanan, not for Israeli, but rather for Saudi Arabian interests.”

Another NoteAlweed bin Talal is the same Saudi Prince who wanted to donate $10 million to disaster relief after the 9/11 attacks on the world trade center in 2001.  Then mayor Rudy Giuliani refused the offer after the prince suggested U.S. policies in the Middle East contributed to the September 11 attacks.
